I think you failed getting deeper at Charlie Nash and Abel lores dude. Reason is they both are kinda the co protagonists of at least a part of those games. Ryu being the face of the saga, doesn´t mean he was the hero at every feat in the story. Btw you also failed reminding everyone that Zangief and Haggar are rivals according the SF 2 manual, so they both copied their respective moves... so you left 2 games from the Final Fight saga: Revenge and Streetwise. There you can link how Cody turned a brawling brute I can speculate and how the Zombie Belger at FF Revenge could have relation with her Brother`s future plan, i mean the Father (priest) Belger at FF Streetwise.

Castlevania was only mentioned but to elaborate further, titles like Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow got some of the coolest bad endings because they unlock an extra mode called _"Julius Mode"_ named after the character Julius Belmont, and if his last name rings any bell the mode is basically a classic-styled Castlevania game within the non-linear maps of the GBA/DS games, complete with whip and sub-weapons. Without spoiling anything they're an extension of the bad ending in which you have to clean up the mess by reaching the final boss unique to the mode.

The bugsnax ending gets to me, especially since my depression hit it's lowest point. I felt the same kind of despair they felt as they fell apart and died. It's haunting.

hey clement, i don't know if you'll see this comment but i wanted to write this here. I just now watched your leaving let's plays video and i respect your decision. I found your channel during a very difficult time in my life and things are much better now 14 years later. Out of respect i'm gonna rewatch every Sonic let's play and i want to clarify, I came to the videos for Sonic but I stayed for your commentary and insite. Your Sonic '06 video was one of (and still is) one of the best, funniest, and thorough reviews ever made. You introduced me to Sonic Adventure 1 and I fucking loved it. I genuinely think the Street Fighter 2 animated movie I had on VHS in the 90s sparked my love for Street Fighter. The characters just had... _character._ They had stories that existed outside of the tiny bit of information I got from the games at the time and really helped flesh out the world and characters.
